1870-80s Victorian Walnut Parlor Library
Partners Desk Table. I believe this to be made
by Thomas Brooks or at least it has their look
and carvings. At one point in time this has had
a leather insert in the top, but someone has
replaced it with a very nice red felt or velvet.
With this fabric inserted this is very
comfortable to write on! This particular desk
has all the original finish and of course is
well made! This is finished on all four sides
and can set out in the middle of a room. The
backside looks like the front and is pictured in
the last photo below.
This is 46 ½ inches wide and 27 inches front to
back and has a table height of 28 inches tall.
The single drawer is 30 ½ inches wide, 21 ½
inches front to back and 2 ¾ inches deep.
