About this time last year we had a
Henkel Harris 2 piece Highboy that
sold for just over $8,000. As far as
we are concerned here… this 2 piece
Mahogany Highboy that you will view
in the photos below has as nice of
quality as to the one that we sold
this time last year by Henkel
Harris. This one does not have a
name when we looked it over but
however we are thinking either
Kittinger Furniture Company or the
Grand Rapids Furniture Company as
well. This Highboy has the quality
of every one of these furniture
companies. This is made approx.
1940’s and is a 2 piece 11 DRAWER
Broken Arch Top with Flame Finials
Philadelphia style Highboy Dresser
Chest. As you can see in the last
photo the top can set off to be
easily moved around. All drawers are
dovetailed.
This is 84 ½ inches tall. The base
is 40 ½ inches wide and 23 inches
front to back. The top center carved
shell drawer is 15 inches wide, 17 ¼
inches front to back and 5 ¼ inches
deep. The top left and right glove
drawers are 7 ½ inches wide, 17 ¼
inches front to back and 3 ¾ inches
deep. The next 4 drawers in the top
section are 32 inches wide, 17 ¼
inches front to back and graduated
depths of 4 ¾, 5 ½, 6 ½ and 7 ½
inches deep. In the base the top
large drawer is 34 inches wide, 17 ¼
inches front to back and 5 ¼ inches
deep. The large shell carved drawer
is 15 ½ inches wide, 17 ¼ inches
front to back and 7 ¼ inches deep.
The left and right bottom drawers
are 8 inches wide, 17 ¼ inches front
to back and 7 inches deep.
