This is all solid Walnut with the
original finish. As you can see in
one of the last photos below, this
is finished on the back side and can
set out in the middle of a room.
Speaking of rooms, this has the
original castors and can be easily
moved from room to room as well if
needed. I GUARANTEE THIS TO BE MUCH
NICER IN PERSON! This is a rare to
find Moore’s Wooton era 1870-80’s
fall front desk lid Banker’s Desk
with the bottom rare to find Tambor
roll. The outside measurements are
70 1/4 inches tall, 41 inches wide
and 22 inches front to back at the
base. The crown board is 14 ½ inches
tall at the center area. If one is
setting items on the top surface
there is space of 36 inches wide and
15 ¼ inches front to back. Please
take notice that the drop lid has a
very nice solid brass push button
center latch. When you push in on
the center button this releases the
writing surface. The writing surface
area is 34 ½ inches wide and 20 ¾
inches front to back. All cubby hole
drawers are dovetailed. This area
the drawers are 10 ½ inches wide, 11
¾ inches front to back and 2 inches
deep. The Tambor Roll is 30 ½ inches
wide and 20 ½ inches tall. The 4
drawers behind the Tambor Roll are
13 inches wide, 10 ¾ inches front to
back and 3 3/8 inches deep.
