This is a nice looking set of 4 1860’s Civil War era Card Game Table Empire Dining Room Chairs. These have removable seats.., see photo below. These seats are an older needle point covering. Of course these chairs would have been covered with the old black horse hair originally. All these chairs are very sturdy and have had no repairs, nor do they need any repairs!! This set of 4 Dining Room Chairs have been recovered at one point in time and a nice job done at that. However if the covering does not meet your eyes, they can easily be self recovered by having your choice of fabric cut to size and with an Arrow staple gun reattach the new fabric right over top of the existing. We recommend this as it just gives the chair more cushion.

These chairs measure 33 ¼ inches tall. The seats are 16 inches wide, 14 inches front to back and have a 16 ¾ inch seat height.
