In a lifetime of being in the
antique business we have never owned
this particular model before. This
is a rare to find original finish
Oak Cylinder with a small Bookcase
Secretary Desk. We have in the title
for search purposes 1900-10 however
we believe to learn more toward the
1880-90’s.All drawers are made of a
dowel pinned construction. The heavy
brass pulls we believe have been
replaced at one time and they are
very nice in a heavy thick solid
brass.
This is 65 inches tall, 42 inches
wide and approx. 20 inches front to
back. The bevel mirror is 17 inches
wide, 11 inches tall and in great
shape. The smaller bookcase door is
18 inches tall and 16 inches wide.
The inside shelf is 15 inches wide,
9 ½ inches front to back. The
cylinder roll is 36 inches wide and
15 inches on a curve. The writing
surface has a real leather insert
and when pulled out this area is 36
inches wide and 15 inches front to
back. The larger drawer is 20 ½
inches wide, 14 inches front to back
and 4 inches deep. The 2 inside
cubby hole drawers are 12 inches
wide, 7 ¾ inches front to back and 1
7/8 inches deep. The door is 15 x 15
inches.
